Description

Plate 25, figures 157-173 showing crystalline lenses and blood corpuscles from various animals, focusing primarily on the corpuscles found in the reproductive system. Animals include an ox [Bos taurus; cattle] foetus, a stone-chat [Motacilla rubicola; Saxicola rubicola; European stonechat], a yellow bunting [Emberiza citrinella; yellowhammer], a rabbit, a wryneck [Yunx torquilla; Jynx torquilla; Eurasian wryneck], and the canary [Fringilla canaria; chaffinch]. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Figures drawn separately and mounted onto backing sheet. Not signed.
