Plate 9 showing a diseased spinal nerve, dissected to show the spinal marrow and a tumour. Inscribed with figure, publication, and plate details. Signed in graphite bottom left 'Drawn by Sir C Bell'. To the right of this, another graphite inscription reads 'Engraved by J [James] Basire'. An ink inscription verso reads 'Sir Chas. Bell'. Watermarked 'R Turner'.
