Plate 36, figures 1-7 showing the tracheal vessel of the larva of Papilio brassicae [Pieris brassicae; cabbage butterfly]; the respiratory organs of the Bombus terrestris [buff-tailed bumblebee]; the colon and caecum of the Phalaena vinula [Cerura vinula; puss moth]; and the antennae and spiracles of the Papilio urticae [small tortoiseshell]. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Signed in graphite bottom left 'G. Newport. del.' The manuscript for this paper is wanting.
