Description

Plate 29, figure 4 showing the 'most convenient' orientation of the revolving mirror used in Wheatstone's experiments. Inscribed with publication and plate details. A faint pencil inscription beneath plate details reads 'Wheatstone'. Not signed. Embossed stamp top right reads 'Cato's Improved for Swift Writing'. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.

Published in Philosophical Transactions as part of paper titled 'An account of some experiments to measure the velocity of electricity and the duration of electric light' by Charles Wheatstone.
