Plate 14, figures 11-18 and an unpublished figure (labelled here as figure 8) showing parts of the circulatory, alimentary, and nervous systems of the Sphinx ligustri and the Sphinx elpenor [Deilephila elpenor; elephant hawk moth] in the larva, pupa, imago, and adult states. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Signed in graphite bottom left 'G Newport del 1833'. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.

Subject: Zoology / Entomology

Published in Philosophical Transactions as part of paper titled 'On the nervous system of the Sphinx ligustri, Linn., (Part II.) during the latter stages of its pupa and its Imago state; and on the means by which its development is effected' by George Newport.

Received by the Royal Society on 6 March 1834. Read 19 June 1834.
