Plate 39 containing three figures showing the egg at eighteen days' development with the egg opened to show the embryo in situ and the embryo dissected to show the yolk being drawn into the body. With publication and plate details inscribed. Signed lower left 'Franz Bauer del.' Royal Society stamp verso. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.
