Plate 6 containing eight figures of eye structure including external views, sections, and iris details. The work is inscribed with publication and plate details. Signed lower left 'Franz Bauer del.' Royal Society stamp verso. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.

Published in Philosophical Transactions as part of paper titled 'The Croonian Lecture. On the anatomical structure of the eye; illustrated by microscopical drawings, executed by F. Bauer, Esq' by Everard Home.

Read to the Royal Society on 15 November 1821.
