Plate 27 showing a side view of the skull of a seal 'from the South Seas' in the collections of the British Museum. The work is inscribed with publication and plate details. Signed lower left 'Willm. Clift delin 1803'. Royal Society stamp verso. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.

Published in Philosophical Transactions as part of paper titled 'On the difference in the appearance of the teeth and the shape of the skull in different species of seals' by Everard Home.
