Description
Unpublished version of a clock barometer tracing showing air pressure for the period November-December 1821 with a record low reading. The chart also contains data on rainfall and wind directions for the same period. The work is mounted on a paper support which is inscribed with publication and plate details. A note below states: 'This drawing was cancelled, and the Engraving [plate 13] was made from the original document in the author's Possession.' Not signed. Royal Society stamp verso. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.

Read to the Royal Society on 24 January 1822.
