Plate 7 showing a study of a foetus belonging to 39-year-old woman who died of internal haemorrhage during pregnancy. The painting shows surrounding tissues including the placenta, fallopian tube, and corpus luteum. The work is inscribed with publication and plate details. Signed and dated lower left 'Franz Bauer del. 1819.' Royal Society stamp verso.
