Plate 2 showing seven figures of a tumour from a patient of St George's Hospital, London: at natural size and with details at magnifications of 5200 and 400 diameters. The work is inscribed with publication and plate details. Signed lower left 'Franz Bauer del'. Royal Society stamp verso.

Subject: Physiology

Published in Philosophical Transactions as part of paper titled 'The Croonian Lecture. A farther investigation of the component parts of the blood' by Everard Home.

Read to the Royal Society on 4 November 1819.
