Plate 20 showing a chart of observations from the mercurial and water barometers that were present in the hall of the Royal Society, taken by [James] Hudson. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Along the bottom of the chart, below the diagram, an inscription in red ink reads 'The red line represents the variations in the elasticity of the vapour. 66.5 - Max, 61.3 mins'. Not signed.

Subject: Meteorology

Published in Philosophical Transactions as part of paper titled 'On the water-barometer erected in the hall of the Royal Society' by John Frederic Daniell.

Read to the Royal Society on 21 June 1832.
