Plate 16, figures 1-2 showing the sexual organs of the Ornithorhynchus [platypus] prepared for impregnation, as well as a mammary gland. Inscribed with publication and plate details. A pencil inscription bottom right reads 'Jas [James] Basire sc.' A faint pencil inscription above reads 'Owen'. Not signed. Watermarked '[...]tman [...]1'.
