Plate 2, figures 1-7 showing details of the placenta of the seal, including the chorion, uterine surface, and umbilical cord. Figures 3-6 are magnified 10x; figure 7 is magnified 2x. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Signed in ink lower left 'Franz Bauer.' Royal Society stamp verso. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.
