Plate 2 containing figures 1 and 2. Figure 1 shows a group of worms of the wheat gall nemotode [Anguina tritici] in water and seen in the microscope field at x100 magnification. Figure 2 shows living and decaying worms in water x200 magnifcation. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Signed in ink lower left 'Franz Bauer del.' and in pencil lower right 'Js [James] Basire sc.' Royal Society stamp verso.
