Description
Plate 16 containing figures 1-3. Figure 1 shows a back view of the earthworm, x2 magnification. Figure 2 shows the same worm under dissection, x2 magnification. Figure 3 is the upper portion of the same, showing details of the arteries, ovaries, and testicles, x4 magnification. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Signed in ink lower left 'Franz Bauer del.' Royal Society stamp verso. Figures 1-2 are on the same board which has been pasted together with figure 3 on a single backing sheet.
