Description

The second of two volumes containing the manuscript versions of papers XVIII-XXIV published by the Royal Society in volume 139 of Philosophical Transactions in 1849. Also includes addendum to paper by John Stenhouse that was published in volume 140 of Philosophical Transactions in 1850.

The volume also includes some original illustrations and figures drawn in ink in support of the papers.
