Description
Volume of the manuscript versions of papers published by the Royal Society in volume 132 of 'Philosophical Transactions'. A note at the beginning of the volume indicates that papers by Sabine, Rees, and Forbes are missing.
The volume includes some original illustrations and figures drawn in ink in support of the papers.
Missing from this volume are manuscripts for the following papers:
'Contributions to terrestrial magnetism. — No. III' by Edward Sabine;
'On the chemical analysis of the contents of the thoracic duct in the human subject' by George Owen Rees; and
'The Bakerian Lecture.— On the transparency of the atmosphere and the law of extinction of the solar rays in passing through it' by James David Forbes.
