Sutton presents an appendix to his paper 'On a new electrical storage battery' (see PP/1/14) consisting of a description of his cell.

Annotations in pencil and ink. Includes a diagram of Sutton's cell and a printed page of a Royal Society Balloting List for 1 December 1879.
