Description

Papers and correspondence retained by the President and Officers of the Royal Society, chiefly Archibald Geikie, which relate to the National Antarctic Expedition. The collection includes copies of Robert Falcon Scott's reports from the expedition, correspondence regarding meteorological data collected by the expedition, and a long series of correspondence concerning Scott's complaints about content in the preface of the first published volume of Meteorological data.
