Description

Correspondence with Alfred Bray Kempe, largely from members of the expedition committees, concerning the expedition. In addition to correspondence relating to financial matters, there is extensive discussion and argument over the "Directions" being provided to the crew of the expedition, and concerning the resignation of John Walter Gregory from the position of Director of the Civilan Scientific Staff.
