Notes on the first page state that the paper was read on 21 June 1699 and entered in the L[etter] B[ook] volume 12 page 110, 29 April 1699. A second note reads 'Mem. Acad. 1699'. Includes one diagram. A note on the inside front cover of the volume states 'from the Memoirs of the Academie 1699. Not worth cataloguing'.
