Description

A note on the first page states that the paper was read on 2 July 1707 although a second note dates the paper itself to 16 May 1699. A third note reads 'Mem Acad 1699'. A note on the inside front cover of the volume states 'from the Memoirs of the Academie 1699. Not worth cataloguing'. The paper details an experimental method for studying how salts are absorbed by plants from soil and water.
