Description

Requesting an exchange of magnetical and meteorological observations between the Royal Society and offering three volumes of his transactions in advance. Mahlmann also requests some to be forwarded to the Meteorological Society in London.

The back contains a note from Herschel explaining the letter's relevance to the Committee of Physics and Meteorology and to the Foreign Secretary.
