Autograph letter signed by sender. Introducing Professor [L. F.] Wartmann of Lausanne University. Observations on the comet of Edmond Halley. Has had many afflictions during the winter. Has been working in the meteorological field lately. Death of [S.] L'Huil[l]ier in March. Would like Wartmann to see G. B. Airy.
