Description

Autograph letter signed by sender. Is trying to obtain parts of Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society containing the original communication of William Herschel on changes in double stars. Would be glad of John Frederick William Herschel's assistance. Printer has made mistakes in spite of his proof corrections. Weather most unsuitable for observations due to fog. Is pleased John Frederick William Herschel is making a synopsis of all the double-star measurements.
