Autograph letter signed by sender. Has been absent down the Bristol Channel so did not receive his communication until his return to Portishead. Does not wish to delay publication but would like to see the manuscript before it goes to press. Encloses answers to some of John Frederick William Herschel's queries. Has the chart of currents ready.
