Bound notebook labelled n.7, likely on Ralph Wedgwood copying book though not labelled explicitly. Copy letters from multiple senders arranged in chronological order. The copying book was created using a copying machine, with a manifold writer, a patented invention to copy multiple copies of an original. Notes that in addition to the chronology 1846 to 1847, also 2 letters of Oct and Nov 1870.
Likely used as part of the correspondence project led by Colonel John Herschel FRS following the death of his father.
