Description

Copy of letter, copied as part of the correspondence project led by Colonel John Herschel FRS following the death of his father. Has been kept informed of the illness of Sir John William Lubbock by John Frederick William Herschel's daughter [Matilda] Rose. Hears things are now more serious and proposes to bring Rose home to Collingwood.
