Description

Incomplete copy of letter, copied as part of the correspondence project led by Colonel John Herschel FRS following the death of his father. Encloses a note from Margaret Brodie Herschel to Mary Pearse Maclear as well as some astronomical requests. Asks Thomas Maclear to accompany himself and Daniel Cloetes in hunting a leopard which has attacked some of the calves.
