Description

Copy of a letter. Sends circular of F. W. Bessel's 'Declinations.' Sent paper on 25 July for Royal Society of Edinburgh, similar to David Brewster's paper outlined in previous issue [of Edinburgh Journal of Science]. Argues for continuity of color spectrum versus 'per saltum' transitions.
