Autograph letter signed by sender, with annotation by Sir John Herschel. Sends John Frederick William Herschel a copy of his paper on the satellites of Uranus, including comments on the work of John Frederick William Herschel's father, William. OS is amazed at what John Frederick William Herschel has accomplished in the last several years.
