Autograph letter signed by sender. Thanks for his paper on the Pyrenees. Has he made any calculations on the depth from which thermal springs derive? The observations made with the spectroscope are interesting. Sent John Frederick William Herschel two memoirs by Count de S. Robert; would like them back and any comments John Frederick William Herschel has to make on them.
