Original was dated 28 October 1736

Glad that the Royal Society approved of his report on the parhelia (mock suns) and he sends some engravings of them, as well as some observations of the lunar eclipse in September; in a postscript details are given about an 'aurora borealis' witnessed on 27 October 1736
