Letter, from Henry Oldenburg to Erasmus Bartholin
Reference number: EL/O2/162
Date: 06 March 1675

Description
Thanks for Bartolin's letters; that the reply from the Bishop of Holar in Iceland had been read to the Society; since Icelanders appear to lack quicksilver, spirit of lead and other chemicals should be shipped to them so that the Society's experiments could be carried out there; that Flamsteed's observations of the lunar eclipse had been sent - wishes for Bartholin's observations in return
