Description

Repeating previous letters because Hevelius did not receive them eg the translation of 'Ulug-beg' into Latin, election to the Fellowship; concerning developments in telescopes (draft is EL/O1/11a); observations of Jupiter and Saturn; observations of the solar eclipse; that no observations of the transit of Mercury were made in England but hopes that the English in America had seen it; mentioning queries by Thomas Street about Mercury's orbit; sends observations of the lunar eclipse by Thomas Street in August 1663
