Description

Stack sends a copy of a minute from a meeting of the Royal Society held on 26 January
This states that the Royal Society can do nothing if Baratier keeps his proposal a secret and that the Act of Parliament of 1714, which offered a reward to the person who solved the 'longitude problem', was still in force and would be sent to him
