Description

Wright shares a method which involves the use of two plumb lines, 'plac'd at a proper distance', in order to take two 'oriental' and 'occidental' measurements to produce 'two infallible lines forming an angle, given; which if you bisect, the middle line, will be an absolute meridian.'
