Description

Da Camus describes the construction of his anchor, which consists of an extra piece of iron attached to the anchor's hooks, such that the bottom of the anchor represents an arrowhead. He suggests that the arms of the anchor 'do not raise so much earth when this anchor is cast'. Includes one diagram in the text of the anchor.
