Description
Molyneux shares Mrs Close's description of a thunderstorm she observed. Close observed thunder and lightning throughout the night, and noticed 'a strong sulphureous smell' and a 'thick gross dust' which fell on her hands and face as she lay in bed. The next day she found that the chimney and roof of her house had been damaged by the storm.
