Description

The author describes how, in the morning of 16 July 1706, it began to rain in Denbigh. This rain continued incessantly for 30 hours, but not very violently, until the following morning, when it rained somewhat faster, attended with a terrible noise (like thunder) with some flashes of lightning, and a boisterous wind.
