Description

This machine, called 'wasserkunst', or water art, is developed to pump up water and distribute it through the canal 'T'. The drawing illustrates the various components of the machine, which involves a wind-up mechanism. The parts are lettered.

The drawing contains a signature saying that W.S. has invented this. [W.S. inv.]. The drawing and description are clearly in the same hand as the drawing, CLP/3i/61.
