Description

Sloane shares the case study of four children who accidentally ingest henbane (Hyoscyamus niger) seeds, describing the appearance of the seeds and the symptoms of the children, which include thirst, drowsiness, and delirium. He describes how the poisoning is treated. Sloane goes on to explain how the smoke of burning henbane seeds can be used to cure toothache.
