Description

An extract in English from a Latin tract published in Strasbourg [Grand Est, France] in 1728 which discusses the autopsies of two individuals suffering from abdominal tumours. The first describes a woman who developed an abdominal tumour after a premature delivery, and the second describes a woman who developed an abdominal tumour over three years without menstruation, which then expanded dramatically when she took a fall, ultimately dying of a bout of diarrhoea.
