Description
Giffard describes the autopsy of a person who died of peripneumonia [pneumonia] in which a bony material was found in the right side of the thorax, adhered to the lung. Giffard describes the substance's location in relation to other part of the thoracic anatomy. Includes comments by Rutty on the case, clarifying the state of the individual prior to death.
