Description

The first part of a paper recounting an easier and safer method to carry out blood transfusions between animals by using their veins rather than their arteries. King provides observations of a blood transfusion between a calf and a sheep, and observations of a dog that was injected with milk with dissolved sugar. The second part of the paper is found at CLP/12i/10.
