Description

Paper responding to questions published in volume 1, issue 5 (1665) of Philosophical Transactions in paper titled 'Enquiries concerning agriculture'. Knatchbull describes the quality and composition of the soil as well as agricultural practices on arable land and in meadows in Ashford, Kent. Knatchbull's answers are numbered corresponding to the numbering of the questions published in the paper.
