Description

Five queries relating to the preservation of timber in England and Wales and the reservation of the use of this timber for building ships in the king's navy. Copy of manuscript found at CLP/10iii/20. Also includes copies of Dr [Jonathan] Goddard's comments on this and the considerations of Mr Winthorp [John Winthrop?] about the planting of trees for timber and his proposal for building ships in New England.
