Description

'Description of a new type of plant, which I name oxyoïdes'. Paper sent by Garcin to [Paul de] Saint Hyacinthe describing a new family of plants with flowers and fruit resembling those of the oxys. Garcin describes what distinguishes this new family of plants from the oxys, and then describes two species that he has identified. English translation found at CLP/10ii/14. Description of the family of plants called musa, published with this paper, found at CLP/10ii/13.

Translated from the French, by Mr. John Martyn, F. R. S.'.
