Reneaulme describes a new species of walnut tree found near Selles [Selles-sur-Cher], Berry, France that he terms 'nux juglans, folio eleganter dissecto' or 'acanti-folia'.

Published in Philosophical Transactions as 'A description of a new kind of walnut tree, discovered by Monsieur Reneaume, of the Royal Academy of Sciences'.

Read to the Royal Society on 10 July 1700.
